How to make a duct tape wallet...

Broken or Lost your wallet? Don't own a wallet?
Make one of these bad boys, they will last for years and are as cheap as chips to create:
Materials:
  • Duct Tape (well Duh!) (one roll was enough for me)
  • Scissors or Box cutter
  • Ruler
  • Clear work surface/cutting or chopping board

1) Rip a 10 inch piece of duct tape and lay it sticky side up on the work station
2) Rip another piece the same size and place halfway over the strip
3) Continue this process until the sheet of duct tape is 8.5inches by 7inches
4) Trim the edges
5) Fold the sheet in half, then tape the 2 sides with a thin strip of duct tape. This is the bill pocket of the wallet
6) To create a card pocket, follow the same steps to make a sheet of duct tape. After that, cut the sheet big enough to fit an identification card, but small enough to fit the wallet. Fold the sheet like in the pictures above. this will create trimmed pockets so they sit correctly in the wallet.
7) Attach the card pocket with thin pieces of  tape
8) Add another pocket if you want. after that, should be all finished.

The great thing about this is that there is tonnes of room for customization and experimentation, try incorporating various materials into the wallet for example, denim panels on the outside. Try different shapes and numbers of pockets, its easily done.

How to make Moss Graffiti, Banksy meets Alan Titchmarsh

Alright guys, check out this awesome and original take on graffiti:

American artist Edina Tokodi paints images using moss (images below) see recipe below to make you own moss graffiti

(serves to create several small pieces or 1 large piece of graffiti)
________________________________________________
1 can of beer
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Several clumps garden moss

You will also need a plastic container (with lid),
a blender and a paintbrush
_________________________________________________
To begin the recipe, first of all gather together several clumps of moss (moss can usually be found in moist, shady places) and crumble them into a blender. Then add the beer and sugar and blend just long enough to create a smooth, creamy consistency. Now pour the mixture into a plastic container.

Find a suitable damp and shady wall on to which you can apply your moss milkshake. Paint your chosen design onto the wall (either free-hand or using a stencil). If possible try to return to the area over the following weeks to ensure that the mixture is kept moist. Soon the bits of blended moss should begin to re-couperate into a whole rooted plant – maintaining your chosen design before eventually colonising the whole area.

The mixture can even be incorporated into a large nozzle spray can for maximum graffiti effect.

How to halve an apple with your bare hands...

Haven't got a knife handy; use your hands!

(Not sure about the 'impressing girls part', I will have to give it a try. Next time you see me out, I will be carrying a bag Granny Smiths ready to make a move.)
